STEP 3a: Set up your computers for networking

Configuring Network Settings for Windows 2000

1. Right-click on “My Network Places” and select “Properties”.

2. In the “Network and Dial-up Connections” window, your “Local Area

Connection” should be available.

3. Right-click on “Local Area Connection” and select “Properties”.

4. Highlight “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)” and click on “Properties”.
